Start thinking about your favourite songs. Think about why they are your favourites. It is because of good harmony of music and voice. It makes you feel good inside. Sometimes the lyrics don't mean anything, they just rhyme and flow with the music. Sometimes the lyrics make the song and sometimes it's the music. A combination of good tunes and good lyrics is what makes a number one hit.

There is nothing illegal about singing or performing a song if you are not selling the music or charging admission to a concert. After all, you bought your cd's and records and tapes from your favourite artist so you could listen and sing and dance to the music you have just purchased.
If you are a COMMERCIAL BAND OR MUSICIAN, a letter requesting to use the music and change the lyrics could be sent by you to the artist, and you might be lucky and get it for free. Otherwise, if you want to record and sell you have to PAY.
But there is nothing stopping you from singing the beatles "all you need is love" as "all you need is GOD" or "Jesus Christ will save" and so on........ Start creating worship songs! In the name of Jesus Christ.
