WHO IS JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH? Jesus Christ is the Spirit of God, made flesh in the unfertilized egg of the virgin Mary. The first begotten Son of God. He was born, grew up into an adult, taught the truth about God, was murdered by the priests and church of the day, and brought back to life three days later in the grave. He ascended into the sky fourty days later. He is still very much alive to this day because he has eternal life. Get yourself a bible if you don't already have one. Or borrow one from a library or church. Start in the new testament in the first book entitled "The gospel according to Matthew". This is the first book in the testimony of Jesus Christ, or "the new testament". If you have already read it, READ IT AGAIN. Matthew was a tax collector who lived during the time of Jesus Christ, and he recorded what he heard and saw. Being a tax collector he was surely educated and meticulous, carefully recording all the information required in the course of his duties to the government. Who better to record what came out of Jesus Christ's mouth than an accountant/auditor. AFTER YOU HAVE READ THE FIRST GOSPEL, THE REST WILL FOLLOW The Gospel according to Mark is kind of a condensed version because it is shorter than the other three books and I almost consider it to be a summary. The next book is authored by a doctor who lived at the time of Jesus. The gospel according to Luke. Then Mark and John's gospels, the Acts of the Apostles, and a bunch of their letters. All inspired by the Holy Spirit. These authors are people who SAW Jesus heal hopelessly incurable human beings. They saw him die and they saw him alive again days and weeks after he was dead. WHAT JESUS TAUGHT US Our Lord and Saviour left us with this command: LOVE THY NEIGHBOUR AS THYSELF. It means treat people the way you want to be treated. Like the way you want to be treated if you make a mistake, or harm someone or their property. WHY DID THE PRIESTS WANT HIM DEAD? WHAT WAS SO IMPORTANT THAT THEY WANTED HIM DEAD MAYBE THEY PERCEIVED HIM AS A THREAT TO THEIR INCOME AND WELL BEING. I can only imagine what kind of hateful person would dislike such a nice guy. A man who healed the sick and took the side of the condemned. These priests and rulers were insulted that a mere man would chastise them in front of other people. They were blind to his kindness and mercy and to who He actually was. "This was why the Jews sought all the more to kill him, because he not only broke the sabbath but also called God his Father, making himself equal with God." WHAT HAPPENED AFTER HE WAS RAISED FROM THE DEAD HE ATE WITH HIS FRIENDS AND LEFT SOME INSTRUCTIONS AND WENT HOME FOURTY DAYS AFTER HE WAS MURDERED; AND THEN ALIVE FOR EVERMORE HE IS SEATED AT THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD, TO THIS DAY.
